Euronews, Eurosport will launch EURO-2012 ads about Ukraine
The international television channels Euronews and Eurosport will start broadcasting EURO-2012 ads about Ukraine from November 15. Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Borys Kolesnykov has announced this during the presentation of the ad.
"The first show will be on November 15," he said. He has said negotiations are underway with BBC television channel on launching the ad on the channel from December 2010.
The ad "Switch on Ukraine" has been created by director Yulian Ulybin and German cameraman Torsen Lipstok. The duration of the ad is 90 seconds.
Vice Prime Minister Borys Kolesnykov said there are plans to create another three ads. Vice Prime Minister Kolesnykov also presented a logo of Ukraine by Andrii Krisenkov, a designer of the international company Saatchi & Saatchi.
The logo will be used to form a positive image of Ukraine abroad, Ukrainian News reports.
As reported, UEFA is responsible for the advertising of the Euro 2012 European football championship finals.
