Shevchenko to play at Euro 2012
FC Dynamo (Kyiv) Andriy Shevchenko will play at the Euro 2012, claimed the head coach of the national football team Miron Markevich.
"Despite the claims of Andriy, because of problems with his back he may finish his career, he told me he plans to speak at the Euro 2012. We cannot reject him", - said Markevich.
As a reminder, previously Andriy Shevchenko commented on his chronic problems with back. "My condition may be stable and may become worse. If it happens, I will have to finish my career. However, I am under the case of German doctor and I hope to play at a high level for some time," - said the footballer.
On February 8 Andriy Shevchenko arrived in the Dynamo’s position. When he settled an affair with his Polish duties his at the draw of the Euro 12 qualifying tournament, he returned to Portugal.
Miron Markevich will receive US $20,000 per a month at the post of the national team coach. Previously, the press has spread information on Markevich’s wages in the team – US $60,000 a month. The new coach of the team denied the report.
"I was shocked by this information. People should answer for their words. I do not know how to call it – perhaps, it is just a provocation. I came to the team not for the sake of making money. Write my salary and everybody will come down - I will receive three times less of the amount which has been spread in the press"- said Markevich.
